On July 1, 2026, CSPC Megalith, a holding subsidiary of the Company, entered into a Cooperation, Option and Licence Agreement with AstraZeneca to launch strategic cooperation (hereinafter referred to as “the Transaction”) in the field of novel small‑interfering nucleic acid candidate drugs for the development of novel extrahepatic‑delivered small‑interfering nucleic acid candidate molecules. 

For details, please refer to the Announcement on the Signing of the Cooperation, Option and Licence Agreement by the Holding Subsidiary with AstraZeneca disclosed by the Company on CNINFO on July 2.Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, Novasight Biotech received the USD 30 million upfront payment from AstraZeneca on August 12, 2026 (the actual amount credited to the account shall be net of bank charges). 

The receipt of this upfront payment marks the smooth progress of the cooperation between both parties, supports the Company’s overall strategic layout, and accelerates the development of its small nucleic acid pipeline.
