CSPC Innovative Presents Omalizumab for Injection at 2025 National Congress of Aesthetic Dermatology
From November 6 to 9, the "20th Annual Meeting of the Dermatologists Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association & National Congress of Aesthetic Dermatology" (CDA for short), hosted by the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the Dermatologists Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, was grandly held at the Chongqing Science Hall. A large number of experts and scholars in the field of dermatology from across the country gathered at the event.


CSPH Innovative made its appearance at the congress with Omalizumab for Injection, and during the annual meeting, it held the Symposium on Cutting-Edge Progress in Dermatology at Home and Abroad & Launch of the Skin Disease Popular Science Competition 2025, themed "Exploring Urticaria, Pioneering New Frontiers, Revolutionizing Anti-Allergy Therapy". The session brought together industry leaders, focusing on cutting-edge dermatological advances at home and abroad to discuss the latest diagnostic and therapeutic progress. In response to the Healthy China 2030 strategy, it also launched the 2026 "Powerful Youth, Vitality for Young" Skin Disease Popular Science Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "2026 Popular Science Competition"), aiming to mobilize extensive participation in dermatological science popularization and raise public health awareness.
The special session was chaired by Professor Wang Gang from Xijing Skin Hospital of Air Force Medical University, Professor Li Hengjin from the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital, and Professor Chen Aijun from the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University.The first segment, "Seeking Solutions for Urticaria – Focusing on Cutting-Edge Dermatological Progress at Home and Abroad", kicked off with a lecture titled A New Chapter in Standardized Management of Refractory CSU – Upgrading Treatment Goals for Refractory CSU in Light of Guideline Evolution delivered by Professor Tang Hui from Huashan Hospital of Fudan University. Based on the latest domestic guidelines for refractory chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU), Professor Tang offered professional insights into the standardized diagnosis and treatment of urticaria. She emphasized that omalizumab is explicitly recommended as the first-line drug for refractory CSU in the guidelines, requiring long-term standardized management, and that treatment with omalizumab should be evaluated for patient response after at least 6 months. Professor Tang also noted that the Phase III clinical study of CSPH's omalizumab demonstrated clinical equivalence to the reference biologic with a comparable safety profile, providing patients with more therapeutic options.Professor Zhao Zuotao from the Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine delivered a presentation on 2025 EADV Advances and Hot Topics in the Treatment of Chronic Urticaria. He pointed out that omalizumab has been recommended as a second-line treatment in European international guidelines, and affirmed the efficacy of omalizumab in the field of chronic urticaria from a clinical perspective with specific case studies.As the conference reached its climax, the segment "Powerful Youth, Vitality for Young – Launch of the Dermatological Disease Popular Science Competition" officially began. Ms. Lü Yansi (online alias: Doctor Koukou), a renowned internet-famous dermatologist from Shenzhen University General Hospital, delivered a speech themed "Let the Interesting Soul 'Shine' in Skin Health".
With a witty and humorous tone, she conveyed the importance and necessity of dermatological science popularization to the audience, laying the groundwork for the official launch of the popular science competition.Subsequently, Professor Li Hengjin, Honorary President of the Dermatologists Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and from the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital, introduced the 2026 Popular Science Competition. He stated that all provinces across the country should organize local contests for collecting health popular science works, encouraging more medical and health institutions and professionals to participate in the creation of such works to enhance public understanding of diseases.Finally, the attending experts jointly launched the "Powerful Youth, Vitality for Young" Skin Disease Popular Science Competition, officially igniting the torch of science popularization!
